Default aux. input ideas and radio info ?

i have a 2008 A4 with the basic radio w/ in-dash 6disc and glove box ipod hookup but im 99% sure i do not have the aux input. can anyone show me a pic of where the hookup would be? ive scoured the car but just want to make sure im not missing something.

so, if i dont have aux input, i want to add an aftermarket adapter. after lots of searching the only viable/easy option ive found is this http://enfigcarstereo.com/VW_AUX_DMX_V5.html

has anyone used this before? install instructions/help?

are there any other good, cheaper options out there?

thanks

Sorry I can't answer your question definitively, as your A4 is "just" too old for my exact experience, but....
On the newer A4's (B8 series), if you have the ipod connector in the glovebox (AMI) then this has already used the connection that would otherwise be available for an AUX input. On these cars there is an optional analog cable that replaces the ipod one if you want an AUX.
As I said, I can't speak for your car, which looks from the photo to be a B7.
With regard to the blitzsafe connector, the web reference you give only says it will connect to much older cars again. I am not sure that this would work for you either.

Sorry that is all negative, but maybe it will help you focus your search.

cheers
..Neil

i found a Grom Audio cable on amazon that hooks up to the ipod dock and has a 3.5mm headphone jack on the other end so you can plug in a phone or other device
