Is anyone else disappointed in the Bang & Olufsen sound system in their vehicle? I just got a 2018 RS 5 and specifically sought one with the Bang & Olufsen sound system in it thinking that it would sound great but I was disappointed to find that it wasn't any better than the stock system that was in the Nissan SUV that I traded in. Specifically, the sound is pretty flat across the whole range and across musical genres. I tried adjusting the treble and bass settings, but it just makes it worse. The highs sound "tinny" and the lows make the plastic covers over the back speakers rattle.

Did anyone upgrade their B&O system to make it sound better? What did you do?

 

I did some research on my own and found an overwhelming amount of comments on the poor quality bass in Audi's in general and the poor performance of the subwoofer that comes with the B&O 3D sound system. FOr anyone else that stumbles upon this thread. I would recommend skipping the B&O option and upgrade the speakers in the standard Audi sound system.
