I'm looking for some guidance. Bought my first Audi yesterday, a clean 54 plate 225 TT, 1 owner full service history. Drove it around a bit and thought it was ok. I knocked the dealer down, drove it home. 4 hours later I went to go to work and the battery was as dead as a doornail. Any suggestions ? just battery shot or somethin more sinister

valleyman: I experienced the same problem yesterday with my 1996 A4 2.8 V6. It is a manual trans so I can easily jump start it and it runs fine. A mechanic I don't really know too well, suggested that it may be the clutch switch cutting the battery out. Anyone out there that can confirm that or suggest some other troubleshooting steps?
