Default Battery Drain

I have a 2004 audi tt 3.2 quattro with a battery drain. Doing the multimeter check while pulling fuses I end up with a .14a draw. What is a normal draw on the battery as the car sits? Initially when I hook up the multimeter it begins at about .5a draw. I pulled the #6 fuse and it drops and stays at .14a. I put the fuse back in and it remains .14a. This is to the control module for the central locking system. Thanks for any tips.

Hi. You need to allow the vehicle to sit for a few minutes to allow it to go to sleep, before conducting the drain check. This is because the CANBUS system is still communicating between the various control units and the current draw will be higher. Usually when the illumination on the hazard warning light goes out, indicates that Canbus has gone to sleep. You are pulling a fuse which is forcing it to go to sleep. A current draw of about 10ma is normal. If it remains constantly high, something could be keeping can awake, then pull fuses.
