Hi, I'm told by Audi that the amplifier in our TT is not working. A replacement is pricey (around $1300 +/- plus install). Has anyone found an alternative that would work with the stock Bose radio and, ideally, have some type of adaptor to accommodate the current wire harness connector? Visually there are a lot of wires in that bundle and the idea of splicing is not appealing. I guess the other option is to find a reputable retailer that sells these Bose amplifiers used. I see some on Ebay but I'm leery about paying $300-$600 for a non-certified amp. If anyone has a recommendation on a retailer that could be helpful!
