i have a 03 a4 with bose 6 disc radio/changer and when it gets hot the right side wont work except the track dial, but the load button doesnt work or the upper right track buttons (to switch tracks forward and back) or the fast forward or reverse right below the lcd, is it that the radio just needs to cool down, is there a sensor wire i can disconnect whats the deal???

it is most likely overheating, but the deck might be bad. take it to a local stereo shop and have em take a look. make sure you do this when it is having the probelem so they can fix it for ya.

 

ok so im still having this problem and the stealership wants too much to look at it to tell me what i already know, that its heating up so things wont work, is there something inside that is f'd up or what its starting to make me wanna throw it in the lake and use a mini boom box ahaha
