Brake Fluid Warning Light still on
Hi and help, I have a 2004 A6.
Had new front brake pads and discs fitted after the brake pad warning light came on. Immediately after a large orange circle with an exclamation mark in the centre and an orange broken line on the outside of the circle on left and right hand side appeared in the middle of my display. This is a brake fluid warning light I believe.
Brake fluid is fully topped up, I fitted a new sensor under the fluid reservoir but the light stays on.
It goes out when I remove the sensor (old or new) and when the sensor is
pushed part way in. What can be wrong?
I'm in the UK.
Thanks for any help you can offer.

When you fill it up you need to bleed the air. I had this and removed the yellow access disc on the lower right hand side. Then topped up fluid to maximum and a bubble came out of the 2 tubes under the yellow disc. After that everything worked perfectly.
