You'll have to excuse me as I'm a bit of a newbie with all of this, but I have heard these stories from online consumers about buying headlights for their 2007 audi a4's (2.0T) and the headlights not working after 'professional' installation from shops or themselves. I have also heard that no other headlights are compatible for this year and model. Does anyone have any experience with either side?

I want to make the car look a bit nicer with some newer headlights. One more 'I've also heard': The original headlights are much more expensive than anything you'll find aftermarket. Somewhere around $1000 a piece? No idea if this is true or not.

Maybe Google would make quick work of this. Any feedback would be appreciated though!
