I've got a '97 A4 2.8 Quattro with a Delta Head Unit and 6 CD changer. Everything was working fine and then when I went to change a CD (via the head unit not manually) it came up with CD ERR 00. Then it stopped recognising the changer all together and wouldn't eject the CD magazine. I opened up the changer and found a bit of grit in the mechanism stopping the motion to eject a CD. I gave it a good clean, and ensured that everything moves as it should. I also manually ejected the magazine. Now the head unit is recognising the changer is there, but still CD ERR 00 and it won't take or eject a CD.

Any ideas please??????
