Central Locking module question
Hi! I have a 2000 Audi A4 1.8T quattro.
The CLM has been acting up potentially due to water damage, so my windows and sunroof no longer work. The dealer wants $2500 to replace the module, wiring, and assess the water drainage.
Questions:
1. What is the consequence of not replacing a CLM? Can it affect the ignition?
2. Is this estimate completely unreasonable in your experiences?
