Has anyone attempted to connect trailer lights to an A4? If so, how did you do it?

 

what year is the car? IM going to take a stab in the dark here and say that you are going to need to connect the lights to power and ground and then another to the brake wire which will be at or around the brake badel switch as well as to the head light with should be at or around the head light switch...Dont hold me to that just a guess

 

It is a 2004 Cabriolet.
