I have a newly purchased '08 A4 cab, and am looking for the Sirius adapter to enable satellite radio.. Dealer tells me correct part number is
8E0 035 593 N.. Of course, I find plenty of SIRIUS RECEIVERs on the internet used.. major part number is the same 8E0 035 593, but each seems to have a different suffix letter such as D (listed as Audi), L (listed as VW-Audi). Is there really any difference between the units that esentualy have the same part number (except for the suffix letter)?

For an '08, is 2006-2008 the same chassis (B7?)

I'm going through the same pain right now. I think i'm going with a L, because that is number the dealer gave me, and the L has one plug in the back which is what my 08 has too. I think L is the newer version with one plug but still can use RNS and TPM. The D is for cars with Navigation or tire monitor system but has two plugs, so you would need an adapter if you have one wire too. Not sure what N is for. The most I found out is some units will have either two plugs or one plug, and you may or maynot need an adapter to put the one wire into the two plug module. It all depends if you have RNS and/or TPM. Tear your trunk apart to see if you have one or two plugs. That be a good start. (One or two plugs, meaning the color ones, green/brown). I don't know, I'm still working on it myself. Hope this helps.
