I have recently did a one piece headlights on my 98 a4 and put ebay hid kit and they work just fine

but now got a set of fog lights that go into the bumper and put a set of hid in them

they worked for couple hours fine no problems

but then one didnt come on at all and after flicking on and off the fog switch couple times the second one went out as well


now i unpluged the fog light hid setup from one side and pluged them into low beam plugs and turn the low beams and nothing


can it be possible that both hid ballasts and both bulbs went out

what caused it
