Default D1S aftermarket bulb opinion?

So I was looking on ebay at some replacement D1S bulbs because mine, I think, are dying slowly. I don't know when they were replaced but it was probably at least 5 years ago I believe28*8. I came across this listing for an aftermarket set for $27.99 (yes a SET). They are 10000k 35w with a 10,000hr life. The guy has sold a bunch, no bad feedback for his bulbs so for that price it is worth a shot right? Just wondering what other peoples opinions are, has anyone tried similar aftermarket bulbs from the US? They have a lifetime warranty as well, so even if they only last a year or two, I could buy 8-10 sets for almost the same price as 1 set of OEM D1S bulbs brand new from an auto part store. I might just try them out anyways and I can report back on how it goes if I decide to.

I actually just saw from the same seller or a similar seller a set of 6000k D1S bulbs which would probably be better. The thing I was concerned about was, I read in a few BMW forums that these generic off brand bulbs are known to blow ballasts which would not be fun to end up replacing both and spending $300-400 just because I saved like $70 on bulbs.
