Dash and interior switch lighting issues
2001 TT Quattro 225 AMU
Dash pod/gauges died after reconnecting the battery.. and now none of my interior switches are lighting up with the headlights. My question is, would the dash cluster going bad, cause the break in power going to the switch lighting? Trying to find out if it's solely the cluster, or something else? If it's the cluster, then I need to get it out for rebuild Monday. Any ideas would be great. Looking at the wiring diagrams that I have, the power is routed through the cluster with the dimmer. I'm only seeing 4.6v at the dimmer, no power to the switch lighting, and ashtray lighting. The glove box light has power, the hazard switch is illuminated, ac controls light up, and the dimmer is only dimming the center LCD of the cluster.
