Have a beloved '96 A6 Quattro, the gear indicator display of which nas NEVER worked in my ownership of the car (about 9 years). Anybody ever messed with these and what kind of luck have you experienced? I'd like to get it to do what it's supposed to do and would certainly welome any wisdom. . .
