Default Dension Gateway 500 not working

Hello guys,

I have just bought my first Audi (A6 3,0 TDI -2006) and I'm already very happy with my choice.

I have Dension gateway 500 installed and i would like to listen mp3-s on my usb memory stick.

The problem is that the usb-stick doesn't show up in cd-list althrought the light on it flashes (means that its being read).

I have tried several sticks, but with no success. I also tried to take out the power plug of gateway but still no success.

Could anybody reccommend something else to try?

Thanks in advance,
juuser

Maybe it's dip switches? There is 4 of them and they are all in position "ON". I searched for hours but did'nt find the dip switch specifications for Audi A6, even not from Densions homepage

I played with switches and got it working - almost. Only problem is that it is not showing any folder or song names, just cd1 and track1...

I'm looking for solutions to add iphone/ipod to my 2006 A6. Did you get your dension working finally? It looks like the Dension Gateway is the only aftermarket solution. I don't care about not using MMI interface if I can pay $200 instead of $450 minimum for Dension

Make sure there is no CD in the slot.
Flipping the on/off Dension switch 3 times should give the Config screen.
May have to be repeated many times.
Are you sure the i-pod is playing when you get the track numbers?
This should have nothing to do with the dealer programming the cd player if the i-pod is playing.
What software version do you have in the Dension
