I have a 06 A3, been having a recurring problem with my doors locking. Sometimes you will hear the chirp when you lock the doors with the remote. And the other times you don't hear the chirp but you hear all the doors locking but the left side passenger door wont lock and I just noticed the back up alarm doesn't work either.
But then a couple of days later you hear the chirp and everything works, I assuming the door locking module or what ever its called is going out ?
Or is it something else that needs to be replaced, is it something you can easily do at home or does it have to go into the shop for the repair.
