Default Driver's door wiring issue

Hoping someone can help.. of all the electrical issues I've had, this is the most annoying. 2002 A4 1.8T, it started off with opening the driver's door. Once I opened the door more then 1/3 of the way, the power would be lost to the door so the door locks, windows, power mirrors wouldn't work. The light would go out on the door lock.

Once I close the door or have it open less then 1/3 of the way, power would come back. So my thought was, wire issue through the rubber grommet that runs from the car to the door. I jiggled it a bit to see if it would help and now there is no power to it at all (door open or closed). Because of this, the alarm doesn't work properly either, the red alarm light flashes all the time even when I unlock the doors via the remote. The doors lock everytime I hit 10mph as well.. so if I'm at a stop and get to 10, it locks, slow to 5 then back to 10, they lock.

Also, the cabin light won't shut off unless I flip it to off so I'm assuming the sensor that tells whether the door is open or closed isn't getting power either.

I took the door panel off, everything seems tight from what I can see. I didn't remove anything inside the door.

Any ideas?? It's driving me nuts and I'm trying to sell the car. I really don't want to put money into it but can't sell it like this.

Thanks in advance!!

I brought it to a mechanic, 4 broken wires inside the rubber boot. They reconnected the wires, $75, All fixed and sold the car last night.
