Ok, I have a electronic question for thoseof which who may know... I installed an electronic boost gauge and i need to dim the lights that are on the gauge. The gauge has a wire that is to be hooked up to a switch if you want to dim the light emitted from the gauge. When the wire is not hooked up to anything, the gauge is at maximum brightness. I need to know what kind of dimmer switch i need to hook up to that wire and be able to turn from full brightness to damn near off, if not off. If you have any further question please ask, I need help!!!

 

If i were you, i would try tapping into the dimmer wire on the radio harness. That way the guage would be adjusted when you adjust the cluster/radio brightness.

 

**** i don't even know how to adjust the radio/cluster brightness. I have an 00 A4, if you can, how do you adjust the brightness?
