Hey, hope someone can help me. I've had an audi a4 1.8t sline 08 for a week. Apart from a few niggles the car is fab. I've spoke to a few audi owners and apparently audi's suffer from sensor issues. The car starts fine drives well but once it heats up a little an epc light pops up with an advisory that I do not pass 4k revs. Stationary or moving I've never been able to get the car past 4k. Oil pressure light pops up also. Windscreen top up comes on too even tho it's full of screenwash. It's frustrating as I took it to a mechanic and without really opening up the engine and testing everything he can't tell me what it is but pretty sure it's nothing mechanical. I've also been advised to re-map it to get the full potential. It's been mentioned it's in limp/idle mode! And re mapping would fix all issues! I just want it sorting. So if anyone can shed any light on my problems or offer advice I would be eternally greatful.
