okay so i took the car to two places to figure out what the heck is going on with the radio/speakers. the first was a random audio shop and they didn't know what was going on. they looked at it for about 5 hours. then i decided to pay the $140 an hour and take it to Audi they looked at it for about two hours and said they didn't know and suggested i just get an aftermarket system in it. so the signs and symptoms are.....i bought the 2004 Audi a6 about a month ago knowing the radio had power problems(it would just shut off for about 3 seconds and then turn back on like nothing happened) then it started to happen more often turning on and off every 30 seconds and then one day the sound stopped coming out of the speakers. so i thought it might have been the head unit so i bought one off goapr.com. for $40 and a week later i got it and installed it. it solved the weird power problem but still no sound comes out of the speakers. any ideas on what it might be? im thinking its the amp so i might just take it out and send it in to get fixed?

 

oh i gotta add there is no power to anything at all anymore!
