Hi all guys, it's my first post here and I hope you can help me to come out of this little trouble

I'm about to get a new A3 Sportback, and thinking about the audio I decided to get a good speakers system to use with my head unit, since stock Audi units dont fit to me.
So I got the BOSE and the "worst" hu I colud, considering that I'd like to change it fast ( Chorus radio + cassette player ).

I have an Alpine mp3 HU and I was wondering what my options are....

Install my hu replacing the original one( need connectors ?adapters ?no problems ?) and lose the controls on the drive wheel ?
Add a cd changer ( can I do that with Chorus ? )
Install an AUX in for... an Ipod....

I really don't know what i can or cannot do without get something broken or malfunctioning....

Can you please tell me the problems i'd meet if mounting an aftermarket hu and the other possibilities ?

I just knew that my Hu ( CDE 9843R ) has the predisposition for the drive wheel commands ... and that's nice!
but the dealer asked me more than 140 USD for the connection wire ... and still has to add the handwork and any eventual adapter for the BOSE speakers

Are those right prices ?
