wassup everyone? I have a little situation........I purchased a Clarion flip up 7 inch in dash touch screen dvd player prior to my last vehicle being totaled in an accident. I have this 03 a6 3.0 avant now with a mint condition factory system. You know the 6 disk+ tape player with steering wheel controls and dash display....A part of me wants to install the clarion but another part does not really wanna lose the extras that come with the factory unit ie: steering wheel controls and dash display.....the tape player and 6 disk also come in handy when I'm not playing my ipod....An installer told me that installing the claron would be a downgrade soundwise and my fiance said that she would'nt do it......what would you guys out there do?????

 

i would sell me the clarion for 300$
and keep your factory sound system.....



j/k, i would keep the factory headunit though.
if anything just upgrade your current speakers, nothing looks cleaner than the radio that came in the car!

really all depends on how much you want video in there...
