Default Hard Faults in 46 Central Convenience

I keep getting a couple of codes related to my brake/tail light bulbs on both the right and left sides. I can clear them and they instantly return. I checked the lights and they are all working (based on the output tests and actually having someone do the brake and turn signals). I tweaked the coding and still the same two codes return. I checked the wiring guide and it shows the lights going directly to the j393 controller. I can't find anything related to this on any other thread so I'm hoping someone has some ideas on what would cause these two codes. I was theorizing that since things worked that there wasn't a wiring issue and was likely a coding issue, but according to the VCDS helper, it's coded correctly. It's a 2010 Audi A6 with facelift. Thanks!

I have the same problem. When I clear the code, the error code comes back immediately with the original date (a few months ago compared to today's date), which almost indicates that clearing does not work. Did you figure out what caused this and/or how to resolve?

Default Connectors

I wish I could remember with certainty what I finally did. I remember initially thinking it was a coding issue since everything worked and I recall playing with that, but I believe it would still throw a code. I do remember disconnecting all the connectors from the module to the brake light by removing the right rear cover and reconnecting them and making sure everything was clean and snug.
