ok people this is my first audi i just purchased it last week... Now i have a couple of questions in reference to hids i noticed theres several different kits on line... Now i noticed one kit that guarantees no warning signal for headlight being out but its 300.00... Now theres other kits under a 100.00 my question is will these kits cause , warning lights or any problems..? any feedback is greatly appreciated also if you all are currently running kits please share which kit you are running and if you have had any problems with it.... thanks

 

look on audizine they got alot of info on Hids

 

you wouldnt have a warning light come on, my friend has a 03 a4 that came with halogens stock and he didnt have any problems with his.. good luck!

 

i hear also if u run HID in ur stock halageon that u might not have a a great cutoff of light and u might blind drivers goin the opposite direction. just a fair warning thought most guys say they dont have that problem.

 

if the lights are in projectors lights you are fine for the cut off..
as far as going for 100 and 300$ sets.. it is all the same stuff just priced WAY too high i have worked with many HID ballasts and have seen the "expensive ones" and the 78$ ones i own.. they look and work exactly the same just with different stickers on the ballasts.. (all mine have been different companies..) so go cheap if u are getting the ballasts and bulbs...
now if u are getting audi special that like fit into the head lamps then i dunno about those much..
but all hids are the same
