HID's--6000k,8000k, or 10000k?!?

HID's--6000k,8000k, or 10000k?!?
Need suggestions and/or pics on best color ( I want a Blue to blueish white) without compromising too much visibility and brightness. I heard that 6000k is probably the brightest but i want more blue than that. How much visibility is compromised by going with the 8000k?10000K?
Also what are some good brands?? I dont want a cheap kit thats gonna burn up in a month..
