Default ipod adapter

I was looking at a new head unit, but realized all I really need is to play my ipod. Does anyone know if you can adapt one to an '05 S4 B6 with bose sound and a six disk in dash cd player? I've seen adapters for units that have changer control, but not one of an in dash. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

you can install one of those Dension adapters that just sits on the side of the stereo, works great, and will work with the original controls on steering wheel and stereo

Dice Electronics, I installed one in my 2000 A6 and thus far it has worked faultlessly.

I just had a dealer install an iPod adapter to use in my '08 with its Symphony radio. When I attach the iPod, it shows "loading" for over 30 minutes but doesn't play. At times, it will show a track number but won't start playing it. I have a 160gb iPod.

Does anyone know whether there's a software download or other fix to this?

im having the same problem with my adaptor. it used to work fine, i think it has something to do with on of the apple updates. fyi, if you restart the ipod (hold down the middle button and menu) it will work, although the radio operations wont.

Here is a cheap solution. These are being phased out and it seems they built way too many. They are now dirt cheap. I have one and it works great.
