So update, mine suddenly doesn't work now. I checked all the connections and they look fine, but when I press CDC nothing happens, like it's not hooked up.

And decided, that I never checked my ground. So I moved the ground to the back of the stereo, and low and behold, my unit works again.

Make sure you have a really good ground folks.
