Default Ipod - Itrip car adapter ?

I searched the topic already and found plenty of threads involving ipods, but not one specific about the Itrip adapter that fits on top of the ipod that sets to a determined radio station. I bought one today at the Apple store but was not able to get it working. I followed the instructions and set the station on the ipod to match the station on the radio...but nothing. Are these no compatable in audi's or might I be missing something. Thanks for the help.

I had one for my ipod and it worked pretty good. But after awhile the thing just stopped working so i went and bought another one, and a few months later THAT one stopped too. So i returned and bought the monster fm adapter and it is sweet. SO maybe you got a bad one but i woulld seriously recomend the MONSTER.

ONLY buy MONSTER! Every other transmitter I have tried has paled in comparison. They're worth the extra 10 whole dollars...

MONSTER cable is the only way if you want decent quality music.. You are going to run into interference with every fm tuner even with fm modulators there is a major loss of sound quality.
