I am looking at a used A6 and I cant get my iphone to find the Bluetooth what might be wrong here please im not sure where to start and have followed the book in the car but it doesn't find my phone

 

There's a update for the mmi that you could install yourself or go to the dealer and have them do it. It fixes Bluetooth issues and other bugs... Mine worked with my note 3 and when I got a note 4 it wouldn't ever connect.
