I have a 2007 RS4 and a 2009 TTS. For my RS4 I have a classic Ipod and I installed the Dension unit in place of the CD changer. I hated doing this as it felt like I was bastardizing my RS4 and although I don't use CD's any more, having the CD changer left in tact would have been my pref. I just picked up the 2009 TTS for my wife and through some research have discovered that the MMI system(s) may have stereo bluetooth capability? Is this true? Or is an aftermarket system or additional OEM part needed? The only niticeable difference that I can see between the two systems is that my wife's TTS has the AUX interface ..which works great, but stereo bluetooth would be much more convenient I think. (She uses an IPOD Touch) And the AUX of course does not allow for interface through the MMI head unit. Why did Audi make it so difficult to use an IPOD with their systems? Has anyone noodled ALL of this out? I am looking for the WHOLE scoop on the best ways to play large databases of MP3's through MMI and hopefully get hi-speed IPOD capabilities to boot. The more I read about using the SD cards, the more confused I became on what cards would and would not work and and the number of MP3's and format seemed needed seemed uninviting. The Dension unit is OK, but it does not display the artist and song very well, and the interface is no longer available while using navigation. There must be a better, less intrusive way? thanks
