I believe I have a short somewhere in my brake line! With the colder weather I have been noticing that my car will freeze and cause my brake lights to come on randomly! Very annoying, I have been waking up every morning to find my car dead! I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem and what the damage was at a delership!!!

Sounds like an issue I was having for a while. It eventually drained my battery, and I had to get a jump.

The issue is most likely that your break light switch is being triggered because your pedal is sinking too low to the floor (temp. related) and your switch is either poorly adjusted or faulty. You may want to get yours replaced (mine was poorly adjusted AND faulty), but it's pretty easily adjusted, as well.

I had mine replaced at my local repair shop (Hillside -- Portland, OR) for around $50 including labor. Pretty cheap part
