Hello can anybody tell me if I can do a HID conversion on my 2000 A4 1.8T without having to use a different headlight assembly?
I currentlly have a one piece projector style headlight With H7 bulbs and I want to install a hella D2S/D2R HID kit and D2S/H7 adapters but don't know if it'll work with my headlight assembly or if I need something that's HID compatible. From the info I've found searching forums and sites I'm getting mixed info.
I want to do my fog/driving lights too..
I have 4 of the hella D2S HID ballasts so I'm wanting to use them.. Is it going to be a straight plug and play with what I have or do I need a different foglight assembly?

Lastly, do I need a starter with my hella ballasts?
