i bought a 98 a4 with 2.8 engine. today i noticed my rear defrost was not working (no light on switch coming on and window not defrosting). i checked fuses and all seems to be ok. i went to salvage yard and got a new switch, and it still is not working. any ideas????

second question is...my car does not have fog lights, but has fog light switch. in order for my headlights to come on i have to turn on fog light switch and the lever on steering wheel. i dont know if this is normal or not, just looking for advice.
