Non-functioning Climate Control Console

Non-functioning Climate Control Console
Recently we put a new radio head unit in our 2001 Audi A6 2.7T and in doing so caused a short that blew the fuse (#37). Fixed the short and replaced the fuse, but now it "seems" the climate console doesn't have any power. It is completely non-functioning (i.e. no lights, no function).
I found someone else that did the exact same thing at: After a short,: no power to radio, climate control.. - AudiWorld Forums but did not provide a solution.
I have power to the climate control console. I verified 12v on the multimeter are coming into the console. I find it hard to believe an upstream electrical problem could be the issue, because I do have power coming in. Am I wrong, or did I just fry the unit and need a new one?
Open to suggestions.
