Outside temperature issue

Outside temperature issue
Hi All
I have an issue where i lose the outside temp display on the panel in the dash and the relays start going mad under the dash, the climate control still works to create heat etc.
If i remove the instrument cluster and shack the wires or pull of the lower ash panel it starts to work again and maybe fine for months then it goes again, the cluster was repaired about 4 months ago and the company had it back initially when this current fault started happening but nothing as found wrong with it.
Any ideas what may be the cause, outside temp sensor cable or something else
