I have a 99 a6 with the premium sound system upgrade and I was wondering if anyone knows if it has a pre amp output or an auxilary input or both? Thanks

yes and yes. See my links below for sources, pix etc.

Pre-am output:
Need to move some pins around and possibly VAG-COM your car (if not Bose equipped)

Input:
Blitzsafe or PIE adaptor will work. Versions for trunk and behind HU. It will take the place of your cd changer.
