Q3 - Text Messages
Hi,
Hope someone can assist.
I have just moved from an A3 to a Q3.
With my A3, when I received a text message, it would be read aloud, and give me the option to say my reply & send it.
I haven't changed any of my 'phone settings, but I'm not sure how to get this function with my Q3.
Can anyone help please?
Thanks very much.

I'm thinking Audi is doing/done away with this feature. My 2013 A7 not only does NOT read text messages or let me reply, when my phone is connected via bluetooth to the car, the text message audio alert is muted, unless I am streaming music from my phone.
I'm not a fan of texting while driving, but I'm a doctor and use my iPhone as my pager. Texts come across and by simply tapping the phone number, I can make a call. I don't have to text anything, plus the call is hands free (other than to briefly touch the screen once). This means I cannot use the car radio, Sirius XM or Juke Box lest I miss a page while driving. I COULD refuse the bluetooth connection, but that defeats the benefits of hands-free phone calls.
This is REALLY dumb on the part of Audi.
