Default radio removal tool

is there another way?
or do i have to suck it up and buy one?
is it just a matter of inserting a flat metal pice?

the reson i ask, is i want to find out what the colors of the rear wires are.
i know that the wires from the head unit go to an amp in the rear speaker.
but not the color codes are.

so any homemade fix to pul the radio?
