just wondering if there is some other way to tell if i have rear park assist besides the beap b/c sometimes when i put my sketchy a4 in reverse, it beaps a couple of times from the rear section. It has happened to me 4 times now and i dont think i have it.... What else could this be?

 

If you've got the Parktronic feature, you'll see small, round sensors embedded in the rear bumper (typically four of them). No little round sensors, no Parktronic.

 

thats what i thought, but wtf could the beeping noise be when i back up sometimes?

 

Do you have the Parktronic? If you do, it's probably that. If not, I have no idea.

 

there are no sensors on the back, so thats why i think i dont, but ive heard the beep from the rear like 5 different times when i start up the vehicle...
