Default Regular line-in to CDC connection?

There's lots of posts about Ipod integration with the Symphony CDC input, but my question is simpler: I have an XM radio (Delphi Roady XT) in my '02 S4 (Bose Symphony) and that XM radio has a simple line-out. Right now I have it hooked up with a tape-adapter, but I want to wire it to the CDC line-in. Is there a simple way to accomplish this? No need for fancy Ipod selection, etc., just a linein.

The only "simple" way would be to have a input on the stock radio. Next easiest thing would be to get an adapter to hook-up to your CDC input. This would cost about $100 and take about an hour to hook-up.

Out of the two options that you list:
- stock line-in on radio
- CDC adapter

Do either of these two options actually exist, and where could I buy them?

The 1st one i dont think you have it would be a plug in on the h/u.

Diceor Icelink would work you can buy online. The Icelink is selling on ebay for about $6 + shipping.

Well, I mentioned that I have an S4 with Bose Symphony, and Dension keeps telling me that their Icelink stuff doesn't work with a Bose system??

And I know about Icelink but I wonder if there's also just a simple line-in adapter that doesn't require a whole iPod....

It does! That's exactly what I was looking for. Odd that a simple line-in adapter goes for $60 while you can get an Icelink for $35 (inc S/H).
