Default Question about brake caliper line connection, leaking...help

Hi I'm kind of new for working on the Audi A4 B5. Learning ...

My car is Audi A4 B5, 1999, pre-facelift, Quattro, 1.8T.

I just replaced the rear driver's side brake caliper. I screw the brake line into the new caliper, pretty tight (almost the tightest I can do with a small wrench). The brake line is not banjo type, it's kind of just a threaded pipe with hole in the middle. The front of the connector I think is tapered for a metal to metal seal I guess.

But now everything is back in place, the connection between the brake line and the new caliper is leaking. When the pressure is up the leak form a squeaking thin jet sprayed from the connection.

So my question is, what is the proper way of doing it? Should I just tight it up really tight? I am a little bit afraid to strip the screw.

I appreciate any help or suggestions.. Thanks.
