I have a 2004 A4 Avant in good condition.
But I would like to add a feature:
When I lock the car with the remote the blinker lights flashes on the car as confirmation.
I would like to add the horn to this function, so I would also HEAR when the car is locked / unlocked. I know some Audis comes with this function.
Mine doesnt.... ( Btw, I DONT have an alarm system fitted, the original Audi remote I got just locks/unlocks doors )
Anyone out there able to help out ???

 

Need to VAG-COM/VCDS the Central Module Comfort System (Module #46). You can make the siren "honk" when you lock the car. Actual values used dependd on the current module settings. You use the following table to add up all the numbers corresponding to the things you want enabled and then code that resultant number into the module. Make sure you record the current setting before making changes. Folks use these to adjust things like the auto locking of doors, remote control close/open of windows, alarm blinks/honks, door unlock modes. BTW just reread your post and you say you don't have an alarm system in which case I don't know whether any of this will actually work for you.

I dont think it would work for you because the alarm system uses a completely different horn [its not the one conected to ur steering wheel] so you wouldnt have that...
