Default Replacing Front Door Speaker

Trying to replace the right front speaker on a 2007 A4 non Bose with aftermarket radio, and once I got the door off I noticed that the speaker has 2 plugs into it. No matter which I disconnect the tweeter goes out. I'm assuming the tweeter shares the power from that speaker correct? If i want to add my own speaker would I have to tie these 4 wires together + with + and - with - ? I do have a crossover but since I was trying to do this quickly and didn't really see space for it on the door I'm thinking of not using it. I also believe if i want to add a new tweeter i need to create some type of bracket?

any help on any of these would be great
