RNS-E Navigation Plus in my 2005 S4 - screen went black - then next day came back - then went - then went dim - and now has gone.

I know this is an old post but, there is an easy fix to the blank screen issue on the RNS-e I found it on another forum. It is an issue with the ribbon cable. follow the directions and 45 minutes later(or less depending on your skill level) you have your screen back. here is the thread hope this helps.
