I have a stock 04 a6 2.7t s line and i think it has like the premium package - bose sound system

im about to get 2 12" alpine type s subs from my friend for real cheap... im interested in getting an ipod interface/adapter/connecter for my car so i can listen to the music from my ipod. It would be nice if i could control the ipod songs from the deck and steering wheel controls but i guess its not a must. Does anyone have any suggestions for which brand/model i should get. I really havent found any good ones exept for this one on ebay. It would be nice if someone could give me some feedback on their ipod interfaces for the 04 a6 2.7t s-line

and if i take these subs and maybe ipod adapter to circuit city or best buy could they install this stuff into my stock deck without any problems???

I would recommend to just install the subs yourself becasue its not hard at all and circuit city and best buy will charge you $10 extra for each item that they will install if its not bought at their store plus the installation charge. They will also tell you can't use your stock deck unless u buy this $400 adapter (which is total BS). All you need is a high/low level converter or a couple of RCA cables and splice into your rear speaker.

 

I've installed plenty of subs off stock decks so if you have any Q's just post and i'll reply to it.

would this converter be all that i need to make it work with my soon to be 1000watt kenwood amp and two alpine type s" 12" subs and possible an ipod interface??
