Sat Nav favourites not always displayed

Sat Nav favourites not always displayed
65 plate A4 Avant. I've got five or six favourites stored in the Sat Nav but they rarely show. I have tried waiting for two or three minutes for system to initialise - no luck. It seems to be pot luck that they appear. Anyone else seen this please?
