Sirius Module

Sirius Module
Need some help on this. I have a 2007 A4 that came with a Symphony II. I also had the iPod Interface installed before I picked the car up. Car is pre-wired for Sat, just no module.
I just upgraded to the RNS-E a few weeks back. Everything works fine.
I just bought a Sirius module off of ebay - part number 8E0-035-593D, which is what I was told would work with either Symphony II or RNS-E.
I know how to install the module in the trunk, shouldn't have any issues there. My question is, how do I get the car to recognize it? I know I will lose my iPod adapter, which is fine. I've also seen posts where I need to pull the kick panel near my pass side kick panel and switch a plug around. This seemed to be done by people who all had the Symphony II and not the RNS-E.
Do I still need to switch this plug around, move any pins behind the RNS-E, remove the iPod interface, or have my RNS-E recoded?
When I was installing the nav, I did have an extra plug behind the unit - could this be the plug for Sat Radio?
Thanks in advance.

I would check out some of the information on nsxjr.com (instructions and how to's) and/or the good folks at www.kufatec.com, who make the adapter cables (easier to modify by just changing cables).
