RE: Sub mounting. Has anyone ever.......
hey csuflyboy im not talking to you...
im talking to Houndz408. He tried to start **** with you about your install. Personally I think your install is great and i bet it sounds even better, and would like to do a similar install in my car. some people will just never learn that blowing your ears out with spl isn't the end-all be-all of car audio.

csuflyboy - I wasn't talking about IB. Although it does look nice. Actually I had done something similar back on my 89 Sentra with a pair of Pioneer 6x9s. People swore I had subs in my trunk and I didn't. It sounded great. Of course I added a couple of 12's later, but before then I liked the quality.
Thanks for the link. There are some pics in there of EXACTLY what I want to do. Remove the stock sub and amp and conform a box to that area to house a 10" sub. Right now it's in a box and I HATE IT!! [:@] Not the sound. I LOVE the sound. It just takes up too much space. With these pics, I can shop around and see how much I can get it done for. Blaupunkt makes a slim sub now. Have you heard those yet? Depending on what I can find out about the sound of them, I may be able to step up to at least a 12" if not a 15". I haven't measured see if one would fit but it sounds good.
